March is Quilting Month
A Quilt of Valor® (QOV) is a quality, handmade quilt that is machine or hand quilted. It is awarded to a Service Member or Veteran who has been touched by war. The Quilt says unequivocally, "Thank you for your service and sacrifice in serving our nation." Anyone who knows a local veteran that has been touched by war, is living, and would accept a quilt ( no quilt can be awarded as a surprise) can contact our local QOV sponsor at Sew Far North Quilting, 106 Main Street, Littleton. The Littleton QOV was established in July 2021 and have awarded 17 quilts! One is pictured above. For more info, visit the national site at www.qovf.org and for local quilt info, contactSew Far North Quilting.
